AR Alliance of Boys and Girls Clubs
39 Members provide after-school enrichment activities and summer programming to children in various Boys & Girls Clubs in Arkansas. In addition to mentoring and tutoring activities, members provide a high-quality Club experience that is safe and fun, leads to a sense of belonging, and develops the skills needed for youth to achieve success in the 21st Century.

20 AmeriCorps Members are placed in local literacy councils to provide one-on-one literacy tutoring or English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction to adults in Arkansas. Members receive training to become certified Basic English Literacy and/or ESL tutors.

BearsServe Leaders
16 Members provide tutoring and mentoring programs, food recovery and gardening programs, and financial literacy programs at nonprofit community partner sites. Operated through the UCA Service-Learning Program, BearsServe Leaders allows UCA students to serve their communities and develop their own leadership skills.

Jumpstart Arkansas
25 Members serve in Fort Smith pre-school classrooms using the Jumpstart for Young Children curriculum to ensure kindergarten readiness. Jumpstart partners with universities and colleges to recruit college students to serve in preschool classrooms in underserved communities.

Our House
38 members provide job placement services and job support to unemployed and underemployed homeless or near-homeless adults; school-readiness interventions, development support, and educational programming for pre-school children who are homeless or near-homeless, and out-of-school time programming for K-12 students who are homeless or near-homeless.

Pfeifer Camp
12 Members mentor and tutor elementary students in Little Rock in a school and camp setting with the goal of improving academics and behavior in at-risk 3rd – 5th-grade students. Members receive extensive training in the areas of First Aid/CPR, Reciprocal Teaching, Reality Therapy, Outdoor Living Skills, Environmental Education, Team-building initiatives, and conflict resolution.

11 Members provide tax services to low-income families and individuals through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program and 3 Members serve to expand the 2-1-1 resource network throughout the state. Members receive training to become certified by the IRS to process VITA tax returns.
